Tuition and Fees
2008-09

Plan 1 - Equal payments over 10 months beginning July 1, 2008.

Plan 2 - Represents a 1.5% discount for tuition paid in full by January 1, 2009 with at least 50% paid by September 1, 2008.

Tuition is due the first day of each month, and a $15 late fee will be assessed for payments received after the 15th of any month. Failure to pay tuition on a timely and regular basis will be considered a breach of the contract and is cause for administrative dismissal of your child(ren) from the school. Tuition checks are made payable to Christian Family Montessori School (CFMS) and either mailed or delivered to the office. Post-dated checks are unacceptable. Please indicate on your check that it is for tuition. Questions concerning charges or payments should be addressed to the Bookkeeper.

Tuition Buy-back Option

CFMS offers a Tuition Buy-back program. Each family will have the option of earning up to $500 per year toward their family’s total annual CFMS tuition. This amount can be raised from percentages of Sally Foster sales, fruit sales, Silent Auction admission ticket sales, and grocery story gift certificate sales. The program will run from the first day of school through April 30, 2008. CFMS will issue tuition refund checks to all participating families by May 31, 2008. Refund checks will not be issued to families with outstanding balances.

Other Fees

A $200 materials and activity fee for all students is due and payable with the first tuition payment and is non-refundable.

Returned check charge: $25

Late pick-up for morning or afternoon dismissal: A late fee will be charged if you are more than 10 minutes late; $5.00 plus $1.00 per minute retroactive to the time of dismissal.

Transportation: We will use the Mt. Rainier Call-A-Bus again this year for transportation to and from Extended Care. The fee per ride will remain $2.50 per ride.
