Admissions Process

Step 1: Prospective families look over the CFMS website. Please read Admissions Criteria below.

Step 2: Prospective parents attend one of several Tours or Open Houses scheduled October 2023 - January 2024 with Director of Student Support Kristi Medley.

Step 3: After the tour or Open House, submit an application for admission together with a $50 non-refundable application fee before January 31. Follow the Application Checklist for additional steps.

Step 4: If Tuition Assistance is needed, complete application through Clarity before January 31.

Step 5: In late February, some potential students are invited to do short school readiness visits. If more spaces become available, additional school visits are scheduled March-June. We typically have 8-10 spaces for children ages 2.5-4 in each of two Primary classrooms each year.

Step 6: In early March the first round of spaces are offered to incoming families

Step 7: Families of accepted students execute an enrollment contract with CFMS. Once a space is offered, parents have 10 days to return the signed contract and submit a non-refundable enrollment deposit of $1000, (discounted with need demonstrated through Tuition Assistance application). The contract covers tuition, fundraising, and co-op obligations. All required forms (health, emergency, etc.) must be on file, and all fees must be paid up to date, before the child starts school.
